Polkadot ontstond toen Mario en Belinda van de Pol spontaan speelden in een klein Frans bluescafé in Foissy‑le‑Vézelay. Jaren en vele optredens later is Polkadot een geliefde act: van bruine kroeg tot strandtent, van diner tot trouwceremonie — door heel Nederland en soms daarbuiten. De chemie tussen twee stemmen, een gitaar en wat kleine percussie‑instrumenten staat centraal: intiem, groovend en altijd met een glimlach.

Polkadot began when Mario and Belinda van de Pol jumped on stage for a spontaneous set in a tiny French blues bar in Foissy‑le‑Vézelay. Years and many shows later, Polkadot has become a well‑loved act — from pubs to beach clubs, dinner venues to wedding ceremonies, across the Netherlands and beyond. Two voices, one guitar and some small percussion instruments, one spark: intimate, grooving, and always with a smile.
